Vision / Mission
All Christians are commanded to, and deep down, want to be spiritually mature like Christ (Eph. 4:13). Christlike maturity comes mainly through understanding and obeying God’s word.
Sadly, many Christians do not know scripture, much less grasp the full counsel of God. Consequently, many Christians are stuck in spiritual immaturity, “tossed to and fro by the waves and carried about by every wind of doctrine, by human cunning, by craftiness in deceitful schemes” (Eph. 4:14). Therefore, the lost are not being reached, churches are weak, marriages are weak, parenting is weak, faithful employment is weak, and the list goes on.
Two Journeys exists to guide you in the challenging, complex, lifelong process of spiritual growth. This is accomplished by instructing you how to think about the Christian journey, how to comprehend God’s word, and how to memorize and meditate on whole books of the Bible. As your spiritual maturity increases, so do your fruitfulness and good works. The church is strengthened and matures, and God is glorified (Eph. 4:16). Your internal journey of sanctification turns into an outward journey of gospel advancement. You are called to Christlikeness and the glorification of God, and we are here to guide you.

Stephanie became a Christian as a young teenager and has loved studying the Bible ever since. Because nothing else was as fun as reading, Stephanie studied English in college. Afterwards she lived in Tunisia, eventually coming back to NC and marrying Kenny, who wooed her by reading aloud The Chronicles of Narnia. They continued reading Lewis as well as a steady diet of The Lord of the Rings to their ensuing four children and at the homeschool co-op.
“I think we need increasing spiritual maturity to fight for joy and against sin, sloth and worldliness. Two Journeys motivates me to grow in love, holiness, evangelism, and Bible memory.”
